There are several options available to meet these criteria.

Option A:   Testing in Previous School as “gifted”: Testing of mental ability that denotes student as “gifted” will be accepted from a former school if performed in a school system in accordance with Georgia law.

Option B: Testing is available at The Dinoff School. We now offer the NNAT2 Naglierl Nonverbal Ability Test to help in evaluation of mental abilities. This nonverbal test provides a fair assessment regardless of a student’s primary language, education, culture, or socioeconomic background. The Otis Lennon, Cogat, and Torrence are also utilized.

Option C: Testing by an independent Psychologist will be accepted.

GPA from former school will not be acceptable alone in establishing level of academic achievement, as academic standards vary severely from school to school.  Headmaster, however, does reserve the right to admit a student on a probationary period, after careful review of all school records, in cases where possible external variables during test administration may have intervened. Student will be placed on probation for one year in which a GPA of 3.0 must be maintained.
