Oddly, in college, I had no desire to become an educator.  I entered the T.A.P.P. program as an older student, having already worked in another field.  Since then, I have been fortunate to teach in public schools, private schools, and homeschool co-ops along with private tutoring and homeschooling my own children during their high school years.  My passion for education has allowed me to work with children of all levels of intellectual ability.  I am honored to join the faculty at the Dinoff School and look forward to getting to know your students and helping them to achieve to the very best of their abilities.
Communication, in all forms, is the tool that we all use to help make ourselves understood by others and to convey useful information.  There is a direct correlation between a person’s ability to communicate well and that person’s success in their career and personal lives.  As our economy changes and new opportunities arise, it is vitally important that students are ready to compete on an international stage.  Being able to communicate effectively (and with ease) with colleagues of varied backgrounds and intellectual levels will be paramount to success.
